Fairytale of Kathmandu

Director Neasa Ní Chianáin follows her hero, an Irish gay poet, to Nepal, where he spends 4 months every year. He calls Kathmandu his spiritual home and a sanctuary where he can focus on his writing. He befriends many Nepalese boys there, and helps them financially with their education and living expenses. Director Neasa Ní Chianáin meets the appreciative boys that Ó Searcaigh befriends, and starts to question her hero's motives in this challenging film on loss of innocence and personal morals.
